GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Green Bay Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left one young man in the hospital and another arrested.

The Green Bay Police Department said it’s asking for any witnesses to come forward as it investigates the events leading up to a hit-and-run crash on the city’s west side. An 18-year-old Michigan man is jailed as a result, and a 20-year-old Green Bay man is hospitalized.

Officers responded to a call around 4:00 p.m. on Sunday to the 100 block of S. Fisk Street for a black SUV that crashed into several garages and fled.

On scene, officers located a man on a garage floor with significant injuries. Police said he was injured from being struck by a moving vehicle. Officers also found a handgun later determined to have been previously reported as stole
