A Waldwick man was arrested after assaulting someone with a "possible knife" at the Waldwick Train Station on Sunday night, Nov. 23, according to New Jersey Transit officials.
Officers responded to a report of an assault at the train station at 9:15 p.m., where the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and refused medical attention, according to NJT spokesperson Kyalo Mulumba.
NJ Transit police arrested Jose Iraheta, 30, of Waldwick, on charges was charges of unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, terroristic threats, and aggravated assault, NJ Transit police said.
No further details in the incident were released. NJ Transit police were leading the investigation.
