The Bowes Museum is set to transform into a festive wonderland next month as it prepares to host its annual winter market, featuring more than 100 stalls.
Running from Friday, December 12 to Sunday, December 14, the three-day event will see market stalls offering everything from handcrafted jewellery and ceramics to textiles, artwork, candles and skincare products.
Visitors can also sample a wide range of street food, sweet treats and warming seasonal drinks, with the market providing a chance to find unique Christmas gifts while exploring the museum’s exhibitions at a discounted price.

An early bird adult ticket costs £7.50 before December 8, rising to £8 after.
