WILLOUGHBY, Ohio (WOIO) - Willoughby police confirmed Grant Elementary School is under lockdown.

Grant Elementary School at 2838 Lost Nation Rd. in Willoughby is part of the Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools district.

The lockdown went into effect at 12:31 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24.

Police did not say why the school is under lockdown.

Lost Nation Road is shut down at Hurricane Drive during this active investigation.
