The I'm a Celebrity camp was thrown into chaos after an emergency alert was sounded amid "a very dangerous storm" meaning all 12 campmates were crammed into the Bush Telegraph.
As the storm struck the camp, producers quickly got the stars to safety in the small room in-line with their well-rehearsed emergency plan. While filming was halted for hours, the campmates were forced to be closer than ever before.
An insider said: "The Bush Telegraph [where the show's talking-head elements are filmed] is tiny but the only place where the campmates can be evacuated to. With all twelve contestants in there, it would have been very, very uncomfortable. Plus they were all drenched. It couldn’t have got any worse."
