AUBURN, Ala. (WTVM) - Auburn’s mayor will continue a friendly wager with Tuscaloosa’s mayor for the Iron Bowl to support local charities.

The Iron Bowl will be played Saturday, Nov. 29 at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn. Auburn Mayor Ron Anders and Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox will place their wager as the Auburn Tigers and Crimson Tide face off in the spirited rivalry.

If the Tigers win, Maddox will donate $100 to the Exceptional Foundation of East Alabama , a nonprofit to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Anders will donate the same amount to the Tuscaloosa Pre-K Initiative if the Tide pulls away with the victory.
