MANCHESTER, Iowa (KCRG) - The Manchester Police Department says it arrested multiple suspects after targeting predators in an undercover operation.

An undercover officer posed as a 15-year-old boy on several public and dark web applications, creating multiple social media profiles.

Manchester Police say the officer did not initiate conversation with the suspects or suggest sexual activities.

Those who were arrested in connection messaged the decoy victim about sexual activities, sent unsolicited nude photos and suggested meeting in person, police said.

MPD says its undercover officer stated many times that he was 15.

Four people were arrested with the following charges:

William Bockenstedt, 56; Grooming, Enticing a Minor under 16 – Sexual Purpose

Seth Chambers, 41; Grooming
