Good afternoon Mid-Missouri and happy Monday! The gloom sticks around today as a wave of energy brig rain chances through the afternoon and evening.

Monday:

Cloud cover will remain across the area with a few spot showers through the afternoon. By the evening our main round of rain will roll on through the region as a low pressure system passes overhead. Rainfall totals will range between 0.25-0.5" with a lucky few seeing up to 0.75' of beneficial rainfall to the west. Rain and cloud cover will keep us in the lower 50s, which is about average for this time of year. No major issues are expected this afternoon if you plan on traveling home for the Thanksgiving holiday. But if you don't like driving in the rain, you may want to wait until tomorrow.
