DOVER — Rochester resident Paul Clement was found guilty of all charges Nov. 24, concluding an emotional trial for the hit-and-run collision that took the life of Brig. Gen. John Pogorek , 57, commander of the New Hampshire Air National Guard at Pease.
Clement, 82, is guilty of Class A negligent homicide and Class B conduct after an accident, both felonies, for failing to stop after striking Pogorek on Crown Point Road on July 8, 2024. He was also convicted of driving under the influence, a Class B misdemeanor.
A Class A felony is punishable by 7.5 to 15 years in prison, while a Class B felony is punishable by 3.5 to 7 years in prison. Both can carry fines. The misdemeanor is punishable by up to six months in prison or a fine.
Sentencing was set for Jan. 9 at 9 a.m. in Strafford C
