SOUTH CAROLINA AND NEW YORK — A FEDERAL JUDGE ON MONDAY, NOV. 24 DISMISSED THE CRIMINAL CASES THAT THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION BROUGHT AGAINST NEW YORK ATTORNEY GENERAL LETITIA JAMES and former FBI Director James Comey.
U.S. District Judge Cameron McGowan Currie of South Carolina, in her ruling, concluded that the Justice Department had illegally appointed the prosecutor, Lindsey Halligan, who then went ahead with the indictment against two of President Trump’s most prominent foes.
