The Scottsdale Police Department, in collaboration with the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, Arizona Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, will conduct DUI enforcement to enhance traffic safety every weekend from Nov. 28 through Jan. 1.
The Task Force will operate Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights throughout that period and then on Wednesday, December 31, for New Year’s Eve, according to a press release.
The purpose of the DUI Task Force is to contact drivers who drive impaired and remove them from the roadway before they hurt others or themselves. This will be accomplished by conducting saturation patrols in various areas of the East Valley, according to a press release.
Also participating with the DUI Task Force will be Apache Junc
