An 18-year-old allegedly gave troopers two fake IDs after he was clocked going nearly 130 mph on Route 6 in Mansfield before crashing into another vehicle, state police said.
Elliott Reid Galovich of East Hampton was allegedly clocked on radar going 127 mph as he headed east on Route 6 in a 65 mph zone just before 8:35 p.m. last Thursday, according to Connecticut State Police .
As a trooper pulled out of the shoulder and flipped on their lights and siren, they noticed a cloud of dust and found traffic cones scattered in the road and a driver whose vehicle had been rear ended, state police said.
