DENVER (KKTV) - The Colorado Rockies announced on Monday that their current interim manager Warren Schaeffer would be assuming the role full-time.
The Rockies said Schaeffer, who has served as the interim manager since May 11, has been a member of the organization for more than a decade, serving in a variety of different roles related to coaching and player development.
Schaeffer played in the Rockies’ Minor League system from 2007-2012 before transitioning into coaching and management, managing a handful of Minor League teams from 2015-2022 before joining the Major League coaching staff. He began his time as the Rockies’ third base and infield coach in 2023.
