Calgary’s restaurant scene is gaining recognition Canada-wide, with 14 spots making Open Table’s 2025 Top 100 list — two restaurants in nearby Banff also made the list.

Unlike some top restaurant listings, Open Table’s is diner-driven, not based on critic reviews. The list is compiled using over one million reviews from verified Open Table customers and dining metrics from Sept. 1, 2024 to Aug. 31, 2025.

Restaurants with a minimum threshold of diner reviews were considered and evaluated by a compilation of unique data points, including diner ratings, the percentage of five star reviews, the number of alerts set, the percentage of reservations made in advance, percentage of capacity and direct searches, according to Open Table.
