Within weeks, the CDSB wants to identify an alternative site for Living Space emergency shelter as part of a one-site encampment approach. The organization is asking the province to approve using the $3.2 million allocated for the housing, outreach, prevention and engagement (HOPE) initiative cash, according to Timmins Coun. Steve Black in a Facebook post.
Using the HOPE initiative money was not included in the public report available for the Nov. 20 meeting.
