Sir Brian May is apparently warming to the concept of a hologram show that would reunite Queen’s original lineup — a shift from his previous stance on the technology.

The 78-year-old guitarist told Big Issue that immersive venues like The Sphere in Las Vegas could offer audiences an experience close to what it was like when he performed with late frontman Freddie Mercury, retired bassist John Deacon and founding drummer Roger Taylor.

“It wouldn’t be just playing old footage or whatever. It would be creating Queen as if we were creating it today,” May said. “I’m very taken with the idea that we can be the original Queen again.”
