Two peers were suspended from the House of Lords yesterday (Mon) over a cash for access sleaze scandal following an undercover probe.

Richard Dannatt, former head of the British army, and Lord David Evans of Watford were filmed breaking lobbying rules.

Lord Dannatt is to be suspended for four months after footage showed him offering to secure meetings with ministers for a potential business client who wanted to lobby the government.
