EAST LYME, Conn. (WFSB) - Police are investigating a serious assault in East Lyme where a 41-year-old man was thrown from a moving car by two attackers.
East Lyme officers responded to the assault at 9:15 p.m. on Nov. 23, according to the East Lyme Police Department.
Investigators learned the victim was assaulted by two people and thrown from a moving car around 100 Hillcrest Road.
Police located substantial physical evidence at the scene, including a blood trail from the victim’s home to the area where he was thrown from the vehicle.
The East Lyme Police Department is asking any witnesses to the serious assault to contact them at 860-739-5900.
