WASHINGTON — Jayden Daniels is back at practice but is not quite set to make his return to the lineup for the Commanders' Sunday night matchup against the Denver Broncos. Daniels hasn’t seen the field since week nine against the Seattle Seahawks when he suffered his gruesome injury at Northwest Stadium.
An Instagram post on Daniels’ account showed a screenshot of the prison that the Dark Knight climbed out of to become Batman to save Gotham. It drummed up speculation that he could make a return.
However, Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said Monday that while Daniels will practice this week, he has not been cleared for contact yet and is unlikely to play in Sunday's game.
