CITY OF BELOIT, Wis. (WMTV) -The Beloit Police Department arrested a suspect in a shooting that happened over the summer, the agency reported on Monday.
According to a Facebook post by the police department, DeAngelo M. Thomas is in custody at the Rock County Jail on other open cases.
Beloit officials arrested the 28-year-old man at the jail for first-degree attempted homicide.
At around 8 p.m. on Friday, July 18, officer responded to the area of Elm Street and Roosevelt Avenue.
As police investigated the shooting, they found evidence that shots were fired.
Police said an individual later arrived at the Town of Beloit Fire Department and reported being shot.
He was taken to the hospital. Beloit officials said he was expected to be OK.
