Everything that could go wrong for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did in the first half of their 34-7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night, including an injury to quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Mayfield did not play in the second half after spraining his left shoulder and will undergo an MRI on Monday, coach Todd Bowles said. Mayfield was replaced by backup Teddy Bridgewater on the first possession of the third quarter with the Buccaneers trailing 31-7.

“Well, Teddy will play if he’s out for some time,” Bowles said. “Very confident in what Teddy can do with a full week of practice taking every snap and every play. We think he’ll be fine.”
