Third-round playoff schedule sees Buchholz, Bradford, Hawthorne still alive

The third round of the Gainesville-area FHSAA postseason is officially here.

Last week saw another carnage of local teams. Twelve Gainesville-area squads qualified for the playoffs . That number shrunk to seven prior to last week. Now, it sits at four.

One came by default. Williston met Hawthorne, and the Hornets did what the Hornets do in the postseason and rolled to a 30-8 win .
