DALLAS — On Monday, USA Basketball named 18 players to its Women’s National Team training camp roster, with Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers included in the group heading to Duke next month.
The camp field features a mix of Olympic, World Cup and AmeriCup experience and will be held Dec. 12-14.
Including Bueckers, 10 players will be stepping into their first senior national team camp this year: Lauren Betts, Cameron Brink, Veronica Burton, Sonia Citron, Caitlin Clark, Kiki Iriafen, Rickea Jackson, Angel Reese and JuJu Watkins.
Even though they’re new to the senior squad, many already have impressive international experience. Betts, Boston, Burton, Jackson and Reese have all played in the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup. While Betts, Boston, Brink, Bueckers, Citron, Clark and Watkins each own g
