Belleville-based assistant Crown attorney Mike Lunski is the new acting Crown for Hastings and Prince Edward Counties as current Crown Lee Burgess nears retirement.
“It’s exciting. It feels great,” said Lunski, 51, who for nearly 22 years has worked as an assistant Crown, mostly in Belleville.
“It’s been a super-rewarding journey, but I am very excited to take on this new role.”
Hastings-Prince Edward’s current Crown, Lee Burgess, on Monday revealed the news and shared the announcement Julie Scott, eastern Ontario’s director of Crown operations.
