Midwest Members Credit Union Male Athlete Of Month: Jasiah Brown Excels In Three Sports For Oilers

WOOD RIVER - Jasiah Brown, a junior at East Alton-Wood River High School (EAWR), is being recognized for his dedication to basketball and all his other sports. Brown has been playing the sport his entire life and says he enjoys the opportunity to improve every day.“I’m thankful for my parents as they always pushed me through all the sports I participated in, especially my father, as you can probably recognize him at any sporting event because of his excessive yelling,” Brown said.Brown is a Midwest Members Credit Union Male Athlete of the Month.Coached by Billy Sullivan in basketball, Brown also participates in track and football, where he plays wide receiver. He is a three-time state qualifier in track and maintains high honors in his academic classes.Brown credits his involvement in spor
