Matthew Breen died on Monday after breaking his arm

A fundraising campaign has been launched to support the family of an eight-year-old boy who tragically passed away after breaking his arm at school . Matthew Breen, from Rathnew in the Republic of Ireland, was in the care of Crumlin Children's Hospital in Dublin when he died on Monday, November 17.

The young boy was rushed to hospital by ambulance on Thursday, November 6, after fracturing his arm in two places at school. His family said that Matthew "was completely fine that day" and was discharged from the hospital shortly after.
