CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The jury has reached a verdict in the case of two men accused of robbing and murdering Brooks’ Sandwich House co-owner Scott Brooks.
Terry Connor Jr. was found guilty on the charge of first-degree murder, guilty of possession of a firearm by a felon, guilty of robbery with a dangerous weapon, and guilty of first-degree kidnapping.
Meanwhile, Steven Staples was found guilty on the charge of first-degree murder, guilty of possession of a firearm by a felon, guilty of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, and guilty of first-degree kidnapping.

Scott Brooks, who owned Brooks’ Sandwich House with his twin brother, David, went to open the restaurant in the early morning hours of Dec. 9, 2019, when he was approached by two masked suspects
