Charges Against Comey, James Thrown Out as Judge Rejects 'Defective' Appointment of Halligan as US Attorney

A federal judge Monday tossed out the indictments against New York Attorney General Letitia James and former FBI Director James Comey, disqualifying the actions and appointment of interim U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan of the Eastern District of Virginia.
