LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly crash on Cane Creek Road.

According to the sheriff’s office, at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, a passenger car left the road and rolled over a 30 foot embankment.

The driver, Curtis Moore, 41, of Corbin, was taken to a local hospital to be treated for critical injuries. Moore was pronounced dead at the hospital early Monday morning.

Several agencies assisted including, Bush Fire and Rescue, London Laurel Rescue Squad, Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, and the Laurel County Coroner’s Office.
