MORROW COUNTY, Ohio — A judge sentenced 20-year-old Dalton Edwards to serve at least 30 years in prison after he was convicted of charges related to using artificial intelligence to create explicit images of young girls he worked with as a volunteer at Cardington Lincoln-Local Schools in Morrow County.

Edwards faced a 58 count indictment. He was charged with pandering sexually-oriented material involving a minor or impaired person and illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance.

Prosecutors said between October 2024 to February 2025, Edwards amassed a collection of child sexual abuse material involving victims as young as toddlers.
