SIDNEY, Ill. (WAND) - Champaign County officials are investigating a bank robbery that happened Monday afternoon in Sidney.

The Champaign County Sheriff's Office told WAND News that deputies responded to a reported robbery around 1:45 p.m. at Longview Bank in Sidney.

The sheriff's office also confirmed to WAND that an "undisclosed" amount of money was taken, and no one was hurt during the incident.

No other information is available as the investigation is ongoing.
