Bengals running back nears return from two-game absence

The playoffs are starting to creep away from the Cincinnati Bengals after losing their fourth straight game on Sunday against the New England Patriots . The loss drops their record on the season to 3-8.

Injuries have been a large problem in the Bengals' quest to make it to the postseason, something they haven't been able to do since the 2023-24 season.

QB Joe Burrow hasn't been able to play since Week 2, WR Tee Higgins is set to miss next week's game after suffering a concussion, and DE Trey Hendrickson has missed four games so far this season. However, the Bengals received good news on RB Samaje Perine.
