The New Orleans Pelicans gave updates on two of their injured players Monday afternoon.
Jordan Poole has been cleared to resume on-court activities. Poole missed the last 10 games after being diagnosed with a mild left vastus lateralis strain on Nov. 7. The team will provide an update later on when Poole will actually return to play in games.
Poole averaged 17.3 points and 3.4 assists in the seven games he’s played since joining the Pelicans this season.
Herb Jones, meanwhile, has been diagnosed with a mild right calf strain.
Jones missed Saturday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks with back spasms. Now he’s dealing with a new injury. Jones will be re-evaluated in about a week.
Jones, who played in every game this season before Saturday’s loss to the Hawks, is averaging 9.5 points and 3
