A gang of Italian burglars who targeted Premier League football star Alexander Isak and made £1.2m in a series of high-value heists have been ordered to repay just £1,100. Four criminals - three men and one woman - were jailed for a total of more than 30 years earlier this year for targeting three homes in the North East of England. ‌

As the quartet were sentenced at Newcastle Crown Court , it emerged they had spent hours in the vicinity of Newcastle United's Benton training ground in reconnaissance missions to work out the Swedish forward's movements. ‌
