Oregon’s Kenyon Sadiq is a finalist for the 2025 John Mackey Award.
He is the first Oregon player to ever be a finalist for the award presented annually to the most outstanding tight end in college football.
Baylor’s Michael Trigg and Vanderbilt’s Eli Stowers are the other finalists. The winner will be announced during the College Football Awards show on Dec. 12 on ESPN.
Sadiq leads FBS tight ends with eight touchdown receptions and is one touchdown away from tying Justin Peelle’s single-season program record.
The junior leads the Ducks in receptions (36) and receiving yards (479) this season despite missing a game due to injury. Sadiq is seventh in UO single-season history in receiving yards by a tight end and tied for eighth in receptions.
