Surrounded by friends, family and teammates, a trio of Gallatin High athletes celebrated their college commitments on Monday. Tennis player Mason McCarty signed with the University of Montana, girls basketball player Jada Davis signed with Eastern Washington and girls soccer player Isla Bute signed with Union University, a Division II school in Jackson, Tennessee.

McCarty is a three-time Class AA boys singles state champion, and he helped the Raptors boys tennis team to a state championship as a freshman in 2023. With his senior season still to come in the spring, McCarty reflected on how meaningful it has been competing for Gallatin.
