The snowflakes fell across various parts of the UK last week with the worst of it seen in Northern England and Scotland, where temperatures dropped as low as -12.6C.

But weather maps now suggest further teeth-chatteringly low temperatures are on the way tomorrow, and perhaps even more snowfall.
