Lompoc Unified School District has issued a request for proposals for the Workforce Housing for District Employees project, an initiative to expand affordable housing options for educators and staff in the community.
The project site at 4010 Jupiter Ave. is currently home to Maple High School, a continuation high school serving local students.
The district is considering relocating Maple High School operations temporarily to classroom space at the Hancock College Lompoc campus during construction, ensuring continued educational services and an opportunity for students to pursue their studies on a college campus.
