Two weeks after the renewal of Alien: Earth , Noah Hawley is confirmed to be helming a television series based on the Far Cry video games. Previously, a Far Cry TV adaptation was reportedly in development by Hawley and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob Mac, formerly known as Rob McElhenney.

FX Networks has now announced that the Far Cry television series from Hawley and Mac is officially moving forward.
