APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - ‘Tis the season for giving back. The Community Blood Center held blood drives at its Oshkosh and Appleton locations on Monday in the hopes of saving more lives this holiday season.

The center is also making monetary donations toward the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry and St. Joseph Food program for every blood donor who walks through the door.

All donors received a long-sleeved T-shirt from the Community Blood Center as a way to say thank you.

Those Action 2 News spoke with say first-time donors also received 1,000 bonus lifesaver rewards points, which can be redeemed for a $25 e-gift card.
