CENTRE, Ala– The Cherokee County Commission met Monday evening, November 24th, with Chairman Tim Burgess calling the meeting to order at 5 o’clock. Commissioners Randy Jones, Dr. Roger Nichols, Ronnie Shaw, and Carlton Teague were all present.

The session opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, dedicated by Chairman Burgess in honor of Redstone Arsenal as Alabama prepares to welcome the U.S. Space Command headquarters. Commissioner Randy Jones followed with the invocation.

Most routine items, including the agenda and consent agenda, were approved without discussion.
