Tuesday will feature the beginning of increased road and airport traffic as folks make the trek to their destination for Thanksgiving.
At the same time, a large weather system will bring widespread rain showers to the Northeast U.S., creating slick conditions.

The rain will arrive in Connecticut around 4 p.m., but earlier in states such as New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
By Wednesday morning, much of the rain will have finished. Total rainfall will be around a half-inch, maybe a little more in a few towns.
We do not expect any severe weather, nor any flooding, however wet roads will slow drivers down Tuesday.
Wednesday will be warm with high temperatures around 60 degrees.
