Monday marked the start of the second week of the federal trial for Dylan Miller, the former Loveland Police Department officer accused of sexually assaulting a teenager in a park while on duty during the summer of 2023.
Miller, 30, was arrested in November 2023 after a girl who was 15 at the time reported that she was sexually assaulted. He has denied the allegations.
The teen, who is using the pseudonym “Olivia” during trial to protect her identity, told investigators that months prior, Miller had approached her and friends during a traffic stop in Loveland in late July 2023 and again several days later when she was in North Lake Park with another person after it was closed.
