KALIHI, Hawaii (Island News) – Police confirmed that the suspect connected to a shooting in Kalihi has been arrested.
On Monday the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) confirmed that they arrested a 22-year-old man for Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Place to Keep Firearm, and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Separate Felony.
The initial incident occurred on Sunday night in front of 555 N. King St. in Kalihi.
According to police documents the incident occurred at approximately 9:44 p.m. when a 39-year-old man got into a verbal argument with another man.
The argument then escalated to the 22-year-old man allegedly shooting the 39-year-old man in his upper torso area.
