BOISE — It was an eerily familiar demise for the Hillcrest Knights’ football team.

After losing in the 2023 state championship game to the Bishop Kelly Knights, 29-26, Hillcrest rebounded for a title last season at the ICCU Dome over the Skyline Grizzlies.
