Liam Meredith scores twice as Northern Berks-Rothrock hockey defeats Berks Beast

Northern Berks-Rothrock (3-3-0) second-period performance led to a strong victory over Berks Beast-Rothrock (0-7-0).

Liam Meredith netted two goals in Northern Berks’ 5-2 victory Monday night.

Northern Berks’ Everett Grubb and Berks Beast’s Blake Strogan traded goals in the first period.

Brayden LaFaver and Liam Meredith (2) helped Northern Berks jump out to a 4-2 lead heading into the third period. David Schnatz scored for Berks Beast in the second period.

Berks Beast struggled to find the net in the third, only mustering up four shots on goal in the third period.

Parker Radswillas added an insurance goal for Northern Berks in the final period.
