RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. —
A physical altercation preceded a single-vehicle crash on a Rancho Cordova off-ramp from Highway 50 on Monday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Around 5:30 p.m., CHP officers responded to the report of a crash on the Mather Field Road off-ramp from eastbound Highway 50. As officers were responding, witness reports came in about a felony assault at that location.
