Travelers were on the move as they headed in or out of the state for Thanksgiving. Christopher Hromek is visiting from Hawaii and is spending Thanksgiving with some friends here in Alaska. He traveled to Europe a couple of weeks ago and found it very busy, so traveling this time was a bit smoother for him. “I guess there was considerably more activity in the airport then than there is now. It seems pretty quiet right now, traveling-wise,” Hromek said. Carol Goveia is visiting from Washington state to see her daughter in Kodiak. She said her travels went very well. “Everything’s been on time, and everything’s been good. So now I’ve got a little break before I hit Kodiak,” Goveia said.
