LAS VEGAS — Michigan hit it big in Las Vegas on Monday night. The Wolverines dominated their opener of the Players Era Championship, pounding San Diego State 94-54.

Michigan led by double digits most of the game and by at least 20 for the final 12:44. Yaxel Lendeborg led a balanced with 15 points. San Diego State shot just 27 percent from the field.

Seventh-ranked Michigan (5-0) will play No. 21 Auburn back at Michelob Ultra Arena on Tuesday night (8:30 p.m. ET, TNT). That matchup was determined before the event began. In the game before Michigan’s, No. 21 Auburn beat Oregon 84-73. Auburn eliminated Michigan in last season’s Sweet 16.
