NIL ban annulled: Ohio high-school athletes can now profit from their “name, image and likeness,” after the move passed an emergency referendum held by the Ohio High School Athletic Association on Monday. As Matt Goul reports , principals of OHSAA’s 818 member schools voted 447-121 to pass the referendum, which follows last month’s decision by a Franklin County judge to temporarily block the association from enforcing its NIL restrictions. Ohio is now the 45th state to allow high-school athletes to profit from NIL deals.
